- How the Trans Pipeline Disrupts Cognitive Neurodevelopment to Target Young Minds
The interstate pipeline facilitating medical interventions for children under the guise of "gender-affirming care," propelled by ideological fervor, constitutes an ethical travesty that implicates all who remain passive. Certain parents, driven by a narcissistic impulse resembling Munchausen syndrome by proxy, assert that their 5- or 7-year-old children, still navigating Piaget’s preoperational stage and reliant on parental validation, are transgender (Piaget, 1952). These parents relocate from states such as Texas, where Senate Bill 14 (SB 14) imposes stringent prohibitions (Texas Senate, 2023), to California, where Senate Bill 107 (SB 107) and Assembly Bill 957 (AB 957) provide legal protections for such interventions (California Legislative Information, 2022, 2023). These children, too young to comprehend basic tasks, let alone complex identity constructs, are assigned new pronouns and names, their malleable minds shaped by adults seeking social capital or emotional fulfillment. The Cass Review (Cass, 2022) exposes the fallacy: 60–80% of these children would naturally resolve gender dysphoria by adolescence (Steensma et al., 2013). Nevertheless, parents, therapists, and clinicians adhering to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) standards persist, committing children to a trajectory of psychological harm (Coleman et al., 2022). Those who acquiesce or remain indifferent to this legal violation of childhood innocence bear responsibility. Their silence perpetuates a system that prioritizes ideology over evidence, leaving children to endure the consequences of collective inaction. This systemic failure demands urgent attention, as the harm inflicted is both quantifiable and profound. The harm is not theoretical but a tangible violation of childhood, compromising physical and psychological integrity, sanctioned by Oregon’s Health Authority under House Bill 2002 (HB 2002), which mandates affirmation without exploration (Oregon Legislative Assembly, 2023), and California’s judiciary, which endorses interstate relocations for medical access (California Legislative Information, 2022). Puberty-suppressing medications, promoted as reversible for 8- or 10-year-olds at Tanner Stage 2, disrupt bone density, emotional maturation, and cognitive development (Klink et al., 2015; Cass, 2022). No longitudinal studies validate the safety of these interventions; their risks remain uncharted, yet they are dispensed with alarming ease to children incapable of understanding long-term implications. As an individual who identified as transgender and has since detransitioned, I have witnessed the aftermath: regret, fractured identities, and lives derailed by adults who failed to exercise due diligence (Littman, 2021). This pipeline persists due to societal complicity, as individuals avert their gaze while children are transported across state lines, not in physical restraints but through judicial mandates, their futures traded for ideological validation. Public awareness, with 51% of U.S. adults viewing gender transition as morally problematic (Jones & McDaniel, 2024), underscores the urgency for action; inaction condemns these children to preventable harm. Accountability is imperative, as this state-sanctioned framework, cloaked in compassion, conceals a troubling reality. This pipeline, while distinct from human trafficking, shares disturbing parallels. It represents state-sanctioned medical intervention on children incapable of providing informed consent, their underdeveloped cognitive capacities and halted developmental processes compromised by puberty-suppressing medications. For instance, at Tanner Stage 2 (ages 8–12), when these medications are frequently administered, biological maturation is arrested. More critically, neurological development is also impeded, with enduring consequences (Schneider et al., 2017). This disruption of natural neurological development underscores the ethical implications of intervening during critical developmental periods (Schneider et al., 2017). The prevailing gender-affirmation model disregards substantial evidence to sustain its capacity to implement interventions on children, erroneously labeling puberty-suppressing medications as reversible. Even a delay in pubertal development constitutes harm (Biggs, 2022). Concrete operational thinking does not emerge until ages 7–11, during which children remain highly susceptible to influence, relying on authority figures (Piaget, 1952). The process, initiated by parents, peers, or clinicians, entails social transitioning, validated by community affirmation, which reinforces the perception of a transgender identity. This indoctrination, particularly in children with developmental challenges incapable of providing informed consent, is systematically driven, enacted, validated, and reinforced (Littman, 2018). Mental health considerations are seldom prioritized in this model, addressed superficially rather than as a viable alternative to gender-affirming care (Levine, 2018). Reports indicate clinicians prescribe medications following brief consultations, sometimes as short as 2.5 minutes, with adolescents obtaining testosterone rapidly (Anderson, 2023). Despite denials, documented evidence confirms these practices. This systemic oversight precipitates ethical violations that demand rigorous examination. Ethical intervention is essential, yet many lack the resolve, prioritizing personal agendas over moral responsibility (D’Angelo, 2020). The pipeline from conservative to liberal states facilitates access to medical interventions prohibited in states such as Texas (Texas Senate, 2023). Parents, occasionally engaging in custodial abduction across state lines, pursue these interventions for minors whose neurological and physiological development remains incomplete (Cass, 2022). These children, often exhibiting transient preferences, engaging with dolls one moment, trucks the next, are enticed by medical institutions promising a transformative experience of gender transition, disregarding the fluidity of childhood exploration (Steensma et al., 2013). This haste to medicalize undermines the developmental nuances of youth, fostering irreversible consequences. This phenomenon constitutes an indoctrination of profound ethical concern. A child’s impressionable and adaptable mind, characterized by neuroplasticity, is readily shaped by parents, peers, therapists, and authority figures employing an affirmation-only framework (Littman, 2018). Most children, if permitted to progress naturally, resolve dysphoria and thrive as their biological sex (Steensma et al., 2013). Others, motivated to gain parental approval, become ensnared in an authoritarian feedback loop: a parent perceives the child as transgender, initiates social transitioning, the community endorses this perception, and the belief is solidified. This process parallels Munchausen syndrome by proxy, reinforcing parental ideology while garnering social recognition, reducing children to symbolic assets (Feldman, 2020). Parents proclaim, “Observe my virtue! I, too, have a transgender child!” — akin to showcasing an exotic possession. This pursuit of validation, amplified by peers and clinicians, perpetuates the cycle. Due to this ideological framework and restrictive policies in conservative states, instances of custodial abduction increase (Kozlowska et al., 2021). These parents seek social validation rather than their child’s well-being. Genuine concern would preclude such actions, yet their public boasting reveals a self-centered motive (Feldman, 2020). This ideological belief system, rooted in subjective perceptions rather than objective reality, sustains itself, ensnaring children in its trajectory. A reckoning is imperative to safeguard vulnerable youth from this cycle of harm. References American Psychological Association. (2020). - Zohran Mamdani Demands Female Genital Mutilation and Taxpayer-Funded Torture of “Trans Kids” in NYC
Zohran Mamdani, the child-castration communist, just won the NYC mayoral primary. If he wins in November, $65 MILLION taxpayer dollars will be funneled into hospitals, public providers, and virtual telehealth clinics to give out hormones and gender surgeries to minors. He’s calling sterilization a “constitutional right” and plans to sue hospitals that refuse to mutilate kids. It’s taxpayer-funded child abuse. Phalloplasties. Genital mutilation. Leuprolide injections. Puberty blockers on demand with no parental knowledge. All paid for by YOU! Many of his voters likely disagree with his proposed TQ+ policies. Polls have shown that up to 80% of Democratic voters do NOT support drugs and surgeries for minors. But that doesn't matter. The trans lobby has him wrapped around their finger like a drag queen in spandex. While boys break records in girls’ sports and send them to the ER, Mamdani cheers it on and calls it "feminism." He doesn't even know what a woman is. His proposed agenda erases and exploits confused girls and promotes body-hatred as liberation. Pam Bondi said it best: “This is felony-level child abuse.” If Zohran Mamdani’s plan goes forward, everyone involved should be investigated and sent to prison. Starting with him. Corporate sponsors: if you’re supporting this scandal, your hands are dirty. Would @ZohranKMamdani or his team be willing to speak to us about this problem? We would love to have a word with one of them. If he claims to support the so-called "LGBTQIA+ community," then he should be open to speaking to his constituents who don’t support this horror. Gay people aren’t a monolith. We’re here to say NO. Many of us are horrified by what is being done in our name. Mamdani can call himself an "ally" all he wants, but he does not speak for anyone but himself. And we won’t let him pretend he speaks for us, that's for sure. We must demand accountability. Predators hide behind this movement. When @ZohranKMamdani takes office, he'll leaving the door wide open, and your children are on the chopping block. NYC, you’ve been warned. - Virtual Pride: A Digital Frontier for Grooming & Indoctrination?
As Pride month sweeps across June, the push for “LGBTQ+ inclusion” has increasingly shifted into digital spaces, with virtual events , social media challenges, and gaming platforms like TikTok and Roblox hosting Pride-themed content aimed at younger audiences. For organizations like Gays Against Groomers, this trend raises red flags, as these online spaces often bypass parental oversight and expose children to complex, adult-oriented concepts under the banner of "celebration" and "inclusion." While advocates claim these events foster acceptance, we see a troubling pattern of digital platforms becoming unchecked avenues for the indoctrination, medicalization, and sexualization of minors. Virtual Pride events have surged in popularity, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, with platforms like Twitch, Zoom, and Roblox hosting everything from digital drag shows to "LGBTQ+ youth summits." A 2025 report noted that events like the " It Gets Better : A Digital Pride Experience" included Twitch-hosted "Queer Proms" and Roblox charity streams, explicitly targeting impressionable youth with themes of "queer joy" and "resistance.” These events often feature interactive elements like TikTok challenges that encourage kids to engage with complex topics about gender and sexuality. While marketed as safe spaces, these platforms frequently lack robust age verification, allowing children as young as elementary school age to access discussions about transgender healthcare or queer identities without parental consent. This digital shift expands the reach of Pride events beyond physical parades, embedding them into spaces where kids already spend hours daily. Unlike in-person events, virtual Pride activities operate in a largely unregulated digital realm, where parents may be unaware of what their children encounter. One school district held a virtual "LGBTQ Pride summit" featuring drag performances and crafts for students as young as third grade, with no clear ways for parents to rightfully opt-out. Platforms like TikTok and Roblox, which have millions of underage users, amplify this issue by promoting hashtags like #transjoy or #gaymerpride, introducing kids to adult-oriented content. These platforms often rely on algorithms that prioritize engagement over safety, pushing videos or streams that glamorize gender transitions or queer identities to impressionable audiences. Without parental controls or transparency, children can stumble into virtual spaces that normalize irreversible medical decisions or expose them to mature themes disguised as "inclusivity." Corporate sponsorship and activist-driven content fuel these virtual events, often prioritizing profit or ideology over child safety. Brands like e.l.f. and organizations like It Gets Better partner with streamers and creators to host Pride-themed gaming events, raising funds while promoting narratives around gender identity and queer activism. Some critics call this "rainbow capitalism," where companies exploit the LGBTQ+ label for profit, using kid-friendly platforms to market complex social issues. Meanwhile, activist groups frame these events as empowering, claiming they provide "safe spaces" for kids. However, Gays Against Groomers sees this as a deliberate push to normalize gender ideology and sexualized content for minors, often without clear boundaries or age-appropriate filters. Exposing children to these virtual Pride events may come with serious consequences. Discussions about puberty blockers and gender fluidity, often presented in colorful, kid-friendly formats, can confuse young minds and pressure them to question their identities prematurely. Digital forums can be a breeding ground for brainwashing, convincing youth of harmful ideas they otherwise wouldn’t consider. A report by GLAAD report noted that social media platforms like TikTok are increasingly hostile to LGBTQ users due to lax moderation, yet they continue to host content that promotes “gender-affirming care” to minors. This creates an unstable environment where parents and their children are vulnerable to online harassment and activist overreach. One personal account by 𝕏 user Forest shows how easily one can be pulled into gender delusion. Isolated during lockdown, she got hooked on trans content, cut off anyone who didn’t affirm, and gained 50,000 followers by pretending to be someone she wasn’t. Now she calls it a “fever dream” and says she was brainwashed. Her story is a wake-up call: the algorithm doesn’t care about your identity — it just exploits your insecurity. Children's developing brain make them more susceptible to repetitive online content. A 2023 study found that adolescents exposed to over three hours of social media daily face double the risk of negative mental health outcomes, including identity confusion. Forest’s account of being fed slogans like “if you’re wondering if you’re trans, then you’re trans” shows how easily kids absorb these scripts. Unlike adults, children don’t have the maturity to question manipulative narratives, especially when they come wrapped in colorful, peer-approved, TikTok-style packaging. That’s what makes virtual Pride events aimed at kids so dangerous. Forest’s desistance adds fuel to the growing backlash against TikTok, especially after Congress banned it in 2025 over its influence on kids. Her story is textbook cult behavior: get isolated, cut off “unsupportive” people, and fear being labeled “transphobic” if you question anything. Groups like Transgender Trend warn that online echo chambers breed gender confusion through peer pressure and loneliness. That’s exactly what Forest lived through. Her recovery sheds light on how virtual Pride events mimic the same manipulative patterns and put children’s autonomy at serious risk. Virtual Pride events on platforms like TikTok and Roblox are the latest battleground in ending the war on children. Advocates may spin these events as inclusive, but there’s a serious lack of age-appropriate boundaries, parental oversight, and honest moderation. With digital spaces playing a bigger role in children’s lives than ever, parents need to stay alert, demand stronger platform protections, and push for policies that put child safety ahead of activist agendas. Gays Against Groomers urges families to take action: contact school boards, speak up to platform providers, and spread awareness about the risks. Let’s stand together to keep our kids from getting pulled into a virtual world designed to target their innocence. Join us in protecting them, both online and off. References BBC News. - Suffocation, Child Murder, Bloody Weapons — Texas Teacher’s Portfolio Sparks Outrage
In 2024, The Dallas Express reported that Lovejoy Independent School District (ISD) dismissed concerns from parents regarding books containing sexually explicit content deemed inappropriate for children. Following The Dallas Express’ reporting and Rep. Jared Patterson (R-Frisco) paying a fee to obtain the full list of such books found in the district’s libraries, the list was made available to the public. However, the district voted unanimously to deny concerned parent Laura Giles’ request to remove the books, despite previously admitting that the materials were “harmful, obscene, or pervasively vulgar,” according to Citizens Defending Freedom. “A bloody photo shoot dedicated to the teacher’s “struggles with mental illness” featuring a drowning photo.” – Sara Gonzales on X Mrs. Giles, the concerned mother, was painted as a troublemaker, got charged excessive fees, and the district illegally withheld public information from her, Citizens Defending Freedom reported. Among the list of books that the district admitted was inappropriate was Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews, with one passage stating, “Yeah, Earl, I’m going to eat her p*ssy.” … “Do you even know how to eat p*ssy?” … “Papa Gaines never sat you down, said, Son, one day you’re going to have to eat the p*ssy.” “No. But he did teach me how to eat a b*tthole,” along with many other disturbing passages. The district later reportedly removed the inappropriate books, but parents have reported that the district still has explicit material in its libraries. “A woman seemingly suffocating, then depicted lifeless with plastic wrap around her face.” – Sara Gonzales on X. The controversy unfolded amid ongoing legislative efforts in Texas to ban sexually explicit books in schools and limit the promotion of gender ideology to children. In 2023, Texas lawmakers passed House Bill 900, requiring booksellers to rate the sexually explicit content of materials sold to school libraries. Meanwhile, critics have dubbed these efforts the Texas “Don’t Say Gay” laws, arguing that they silence LGBTQ+ voices in schools. Supporters argue the laws protect children from inappropriate content, especially in taxpayer-funded environments. While “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" was the only specific title cited in the reporting, the list of challenged books reportedly included 40 titles in total, many of which were “LGBTQIA-themed” or included graphic depictions of sex. Among them are Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, This Book Is Gay by Juno Dawson, Flamer by Mike Curato, and All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M. Johnson. Critics of the district’s decision argue that these titles clearly fall under the legal definitions of obscenity outlined in recent Texas legislation. “A photo of a woman holding a shovel standing over a lifeless-looking child, depicting child murder.” – Sara Gonzales on X Disturbing allegations were reported in March regarding Brittney Stroud, a Middle School Lovejoy Independent School District (ISD) teacher, who allegedly played music with explicit lyrics to her middle school students and recommended sexually charged TV shows. Texas Family Project reported that Stroud told students who were uncomfortable with the recommendations that they “have big brains” and “can handle it.” Parents told the Family Project that when students or their parents complained, the students faced retaliation. Following reporting by the Texas Family Project (TFP) and their Vice President, Sara Gonzales, Lovejoy ISD took swift action and placed Brittney Stroud on administrative leave pending an investigation. “We will follow through on this one, @lovejoyisd1. Do right by Texas kids,” Sara wrote. This is just the latest development in a string of disturbing stories that have emerged over the past several years involving the Lovejoy Independent School District, located in Collin County, Texas. In June 2023, Texas Scorecard reported that a former special education aide at Lovejoy High School, Alisha Feuerbacher, was arrested for an alleged improper relationship with a student—an incident that occurred after she had left the district. In June 2022, Ray Cooper, known by students as “Creepy Cooper,” resigned after sending sexually suggestive messages to a student, although his teaching certificate remains active. “A photoshoot with a woman wielding and licking a bloody knife, called ‘fed up housewife.’” – Sara Gonzales on X. Stroud has also posted a series of extremely disturbing images, including bloody photos dedicated to her “struggle with mental illness,” one of which depicts someone drowning in a bathtub. Other photos include one titled “Fed Up Housewife,” showing a woman licking a bloody knife; a woman’s head wrapped in plastic; a woman standing over a dead body in a scene depicting child murder; and an image of bloody hands with a man standing behind a window. This is what happens when schools prioritize political agendas over parental concerns and student safety. The LGBTQ+ agenda is being pushed through explicit materials in taxpayer-funded libraries. These books go far beyond inclusion and cross into graphic, sexualized content targeting minors. Titles like Gender Queer and This Book Is Gay aren’t about acceptance; they’re about indoctrination, often under the guise of “diversity.” The outrage surrounding Brittney Stroud’s behavior and the grotesque images in her portfolio only adds to the growing concern: that some educators not only dismiss parents, but actively promote content and conduct that desensitize children to sexual themes and violence. Despite repeated warnings, the Lovejoy ISD and districts like it have continued to defend this material, most of it “LGBTQIA-themed,” while punishing those who speak up. This isn’t about being “anti-LGBTQ+” or censoring literature. It’s about protecting children. And the louder the defenders of this content scream “Don’t Say Gay,” the more obvious it becomes that what they really fear is accountability. “Bloody hands with a young male behind a window.” – Sara Gonzales on X. - Texas Attorney General Strikes Deal With Dallas School District Over Transgender Sports Policy
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced in April that a significant agreement with the Dallas Independent School District (ISD) has been struck down to ensure that Dallas ISD is complying with state laws that prohibit biological males from participating in girls’ sports. Paxton warned that “biological males have no place in girls’ sports” and that “any Texas public schools doing otherwise will be held accountable,” The Dallas Express reported. The update comes following an investigation that was launched in February 2025 by the Attorney General after Dallas ISD’s LGBT Youth Program Coordinator Ms. Mahoganie Gaston was caught on camera advising a parent that if they changed their son’s sex to “female” on the child’s birth certificate, that child would then be allowed to participate in girls sports. Gaston admitted that the district finds “loopholes in everything” and went as far as saying that she was willing to go to jail for defying Texas law. Gaston resigned from her position following the investigation. Official Statement by Texas AG Ken Paxton “School districts must follow the law, keep our children safe, and end these insane ‘gender theory’ policies that ignore reality and encourage illegal actions. ISD officials who have participated in this madness will be held accountable,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said. “This systematic effort by Dallas ISD officials to circumvent Texas law will be exposed and stopped.” Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill in 2021 prohibiting K-12 students from competing in interscholastic athletic competitions designated for the opposite biological sex. In 2023, Abbott signed another bill into law expanding that protection. Dallas ISD has been one of the worst-performing school districts in Texas, and Gays Against Groomers has reported on this several times. In May 2024 , I reported on ISD’s partnership with Resource Center , a health and wellness service meant for “LGBTQ youth” that provides referrals for sex alteration surgeries for minors. Not only was Dallas ISD advising parents on how they could get their male child on to a girls’ sports team, they were partnering with an organization that “offers medical letters of support for people seeking Hormone Replacement Therapy services….For established counseling patients, we can also provide assessments and clearance letters for gender confirmation surgeries or legal services (e.g., name changes, gender-marker changes).” Resource Center – Hormone Therapy Services Texas Scorecard exposed in 2024 that Dallas ISD previously posted on their news site a story titled “ The Hub ” which was designed to be shared “with parents, staff and student’s alike” and promoted a “Transgender Map”, which advised children on which body parts they could remove, as well as sharing information about doctors nationwide capable of performing such surgeries. This agreement with Dallas ISD is not only a win for girls sports but a win for the safety of girls and we at Gays Against Groomers celebrate that, however, Dallas ISD has had a long list of issues with promoting gender transition surgeries for minors and remains a district that must be watched closely. - AOC is endorsing Zohran Mamdani for NYC Mayor
New York City Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed Zohran Mamdani for mayor in an effort to defeat Andrew Cuomo. Zohran will pour MILLIONS of tax dollars into “community gender clinics” to inject kids with puberty blockers. No parental knowledge needed! AOC previously endorsed a $65 million plan to sterilize confused kids & punish anyone who says no. $8 MILLION is going to “virtual” gender clinics that deal hormones over webcam. No oversight. A teenager could get life-altering drugs through telehealth without ever stepping into a doctor’s office without parents ever knowing. "Sterilize more children....or else." Mamdani's plan FORCES medical providers to hand out castration drugs like candy. His administration believes that age restrictions are "unconstitutional," and therefore, not complying with these demands results in legal punishment. "I'm here with thousands of New Yorkers, standing up for trans kids!" Zohran Mamdani and Gays Against Groomers attended the same protest. Needless to say, were on opposing sides. He plans to fund the COIN Clinic, where kids get hormones behind their parents’ backs. A socialist with a scalpel. This is state-sponsored medical abuse, a taxpayer-funded pipeline to irreversible harm. He wants YOU to pay for it. Gays Against Groomers tried voicing our concerns to AOC in Washington DC, but she ignored us, like our opinions didn't matter. These so-called "progressives" claim to "uplift LGBTQIA+ voices" but only when it suits their narrative. Funny how that works. New York City: Vote like your children's ’ lives depend on it! Keep the kiddie-cutter cult OUT of office. - Gays Against Groomers Marks Three Year Anniversary with Unprecedented Legislative Wins and Global Advocacy
As Gays Against Groomers (GAG) celebrates its third anniversary, the organization reflects on a transformative year of advocacy, legislative victories, and international influence in its mission to protect children and women from sexualization, indoctrination, and medicalization under the guise of “LGBTQ+ rights.” Since its founding in 2022, GAG has evolved into a global force for common sense, achieving milestones that underscore its growing impact. A defining moment came on February 5, 2025, when GAG’s President and Founder, Jaimee Michell, was invited to the White House to witness the signing of the Executive Order “ Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports .” This order established sweeping mandates on sex and sports policy, directing federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, to interpret Title IX rules as prohibiting transgender girls and women from participating in female sports categories. “This policy is a victory for fairness and truth, reflecting years of our advocacy to safeguard girls’ opportunities and spaces,” Michell stated. GAG’s legislative efforts in 2025 were equally historic. The organization tracked 1,347 bills nationwide, with 12 advocates delivering over 150 testimonies on more than 80 pieces of legislation across 30 states. GAG flipped 80 Democrat legislators and built a coalition with groups like Mom’s for Liberty , Heritage Foundation , and Women’s Liberation Front, matching trans activists’ presence in previously dominated states. A standout achievement was the campaign against Colorado HB25-1312 , where GAG mobilized in just 24 hours, leading to a record-breaking 100,000 emails, 20,000 phone calls, and 710 testimonies—crashing the state’s website and running testimony past midnight. Our influence has even expanded across the Atlantic when Jaimee Michell delivered a keynote address at the “LGB Interrupted” conference in Dublin, Ireland, on May 31, 2025. Organized by Not All Gays , this event focused on challenging gender ideology and its impact on the lesbian, gay, and bisexual community, aligning perfectly with GAG’s mission . Michell’s speech, where she stated, “The gay community has been hijacked. We’re being used as a human shield for an agenda that targets children,” resonated with audiences amidst a growing international movement of LGB groups distancing themselves from transgender activism. Our Director of Operations , Director of Media , and Director of Content also traveled to the UK to be featured guests at the "Jam for Freedom" festival! These marked a significant step in GAG’s global advocacy, reflecting the transatlantic shift in discourse on these critical issues. Beyond legislation, GAG amplified its message through high-profile platforms, speaking at the Supreme Court in December 2024 and headlining rallies like the “Worldwide Stop the War on Children ” across 20+ U.S. cities, Canada, and Germany in 2023. Culturally, GAG’s 2024 book, The Gender Trap: The Trans Agenda’s War Against Children , and the Dark Side of the Rainbow podcast have reached millions, while a 2024 campaign against Target ’s Pride merchandise led to a significant policy shift. Despite being banned from 16 platforms, GAG’s social media presence has soared to nearly 1 million followers as of June 3, 2025. Looking ahead, GAG remains committed to ending the war on children and women, calling for continued support through donations and merchandise purchases at https://shop.gaysagainstgroomers.com/ Gays Against Groomers is a coalition of gay and lesbian individuals dedicated to protecting children and women from harm done in the name of the LGBTQIA+ community. Founded in 2022, GAG advocates for policies that prioritize safety, fairness, and truth.
- Stop the Harm: Protecting Our Kids from Dangerous Drugs and Gender Ideology
Many doctors, nurses, and medical staff, including pharmacists, genuinely inform you of the positive effects of certain drugs, sometimes to the extent that you have patient counseling to learn of the potential harms they have, if not taken properly. However, with the push for gender ideology, many of these drugs are still being prescribed for children and teens, even with the EO going out to block and ban gender-affirming care. Here’s a list of the side effects of each drug and how common or uncommon they are: 1. Cross-Sex Estrogen (Estradiol) Side Effects & Commonality: • Breast tenderness or pain – Common (20–50%). • Weight gain – Common (10–20%; higher unmonitored). • Nausea or vomiting – Common (10–20% early, often subsides). • Mood swings or depression – Variable (10–30%; worse unmonitored). • Headaches or migraines – Uncommon (5–10%; higher unmonitored with overdose). • Liver strain or elevated liver enzymes – Uncommon (1–5% oral; rare transdermal; higher unmonitored). • Gallbladder disease or gallstones – Uncommon (1–5%; higher oral, unmonitored unclear). • Hyperprolactinemia (rarely prolactinomas) – Uncommon (1–5%; prolactinomas <0.5%; higher unmonitored). • Increased risk of blood clots – Uncommon (1–5% monitored; 5–10%+ unmonitored, higher with oral forms or smoking). • Elevated risk of stroke or heart attack – Rare (<1% monitored; uncommon 2–5% unmonitored with risk factors). • Increased risk of estrogen-sensitive cancers (e.g., breast cancer) – Rare (<1% short-term; uncommon long-term unmonitored). 2. Unmonitored Risks: Estrogen: Clot and liver risks spike without dose checks or risk factor management. Progesterone: Metabolic and clot risks increase with excessive dosing. Spironolactone: Hyperkalemia can be lethal without potassium monitoring. Testosterone: Polycythemia and cardiovascular risks escalate without blood work. GnRH Agonists: Bone density loss accelerates without calcium/vitamin D or monitoring, especially long-term. When we give children these drugs, we unnecessarily expose them to a lifelong risk of unwanted side effects, including the possibility of death. If these drugs are obtained through other means than a doctor, such as the black market, the risks of complications are much higher because the person taking them is not being monitored by medical staff. These drugs are highly dangerous if not properly monitored because there is a true risk of death or other lifelong issues that may incapacitate and disable someone. The gender ideologues pushing the "gender-affirming care" narrative have gotten the medical and mental health establishments to go along with the idea that affirming gender is the only answer to perceived gender dysphoria. We have to ask ourselves why we’re seeing a greater rise in gender dysphoria than at any other time in history. The reason for this increase is social effects, peer pressure, personal perceptions, and more—through the affirmation of a belief not centered in biological reality but in emotional psychology (Littman, 2018 ). When children show a propensity for playing with toys or other items associated with the opposite sex, it is mainly out of curiosity rather than gender dysphoria. It is not even rapid-onset gender dysphoria (ROGD); rather, this curiosity is being misinterpreted, with parents jumping to the conclusion that their child must be transgender, further reinforcing the belief through affirmation. This truly is a crime against humanity. The willful push for a child to be transgender is based on an errant belief in an ideology that is unproven without longitudinal and historical rigor and testing (D’Angelo et al., 2021 ). This is harmful to children on so many levels: mentally, the toll it will take on a child throughout the rest of their life; emotionally, the toll that may lead them down paths of regret; and physically, the toll of a shortened life, a disability, or even the possibility of death. People are blindly accepting the medical and mental health establishments, professionals who are supposed to help guide patients and clients down a healthy path. However, they do not need to affirm gender as part of treatment, yet they choose to. Challenging these professionals is something we all should be doing, not blindly accepting them on faith.I once talked to a PA (physician’s assistant) about this topic, and she surmised that the patient had already sought mental health care, without even checking with the patient’s mental health provider. It was shocking to learn that she did not verify the patient’s mental health status and instead blindly took the patient’s word that they were seeing someone. Now, consider the fact that parents are taking their children to these types of providers in their communities. And if they can’t find one locally, they will travel just to affirm a child’s displayed gender. With the “gender-affirming care” model, this has become a pipeline to harming children in the name of ideology rather than prioritizing their actual mental health. These are the challenges we face in the fight against the 'gender-affirmation care' model. Few medical and mental health professionals oppose this ideology, yet those who do are often silenced. Speaking out puts them at risk of losing their licenses and practices. This is deeply concerning because the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association are closely tied to WPATH, which has been exposed for corruption by journalists and others . Additionally, the American Medical Association (AMA) is heavily influenced by pharmaceutical companies. Consider the doctors, nurses, and other medical staff who prioritize gender-affirming care over protecting children from harm. This system functions as an industry seeking lifelong patients, both medically and psychologically. At the end of the day, if fewer people transition, how will these institutions continue to profit? As someone who transitioned nearly thirty years ago and has since detransitioned, I have witnessed firsthand the growing dangers of the gender affirmation model. When I transitioned, I spent two years in therapy before being prescribed cross-sex hormones to feminize my body. There was far greater gatekeeping then compared to today, where reports emerge of individuals walking into a clinic and leaving with cross-sex hormones within half an hour, often without a blood test (Turban & Keuroghlian, 2018 ). Additionally, my therapy sessions never addressed my underlying trauma (Giovanardi et al., 2021 ). Looking back, I believe that if I had properly confronted my trauma, I might never have transitioned. However, hindsight is always speculative. Our goal should be to protect children from these harms. Children are not just precious gifts; they are our greatest resource for an enduring legacy. Safeguarding them is a responsibility we must all take seriously. If we do not stand up for them now, who will in the future? We are already witnessing the devastating effects of gender ideology on society. Transgender shooter Audrey Hale killed six people, including three children, at a Nashville school (Woods & McCord, 2023 ). In Indiana, transgender teen Trinity Shockley planned a Valentine’s Day school massacre (Cohen, 2025 ). Cults like the Zizians, linked to the brutal murder of a Pennsylvania couple, reveal how this violence is spreading (Davis & Lease, 2025 ). This is not just a political issue; it is a growing mental health crisis leaving children with lifelong scars. That is why we must act now before this becomes an irreversible failure. The tide is turning. President Trump’s executive orders banning “gender-affirming care,” supported by several states, are a step in the right direction. However, many organizations continue to defy these orders. We must put pressure on state legislators, governors, school boards, and other key decision-makers. Standing up and speaking out can make a difference. Attending a school board meeting or testifying before lawmakers takes only an hour, yet it can have a lasting impact. There is plenty we can do, but we must act now, before it is too late. - HHS Review on Pediatric Gender Dysphoria Treatments: A Victory for Science and Child Protection
On May 1, 2025, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a landmark 400-page report, Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices , commissioned under President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14187. Gays Against Groomers strongly supports this review. It marks a critical step toward evidence-based care, shielding vulnerable youth from irreversible harm, and restoring ethical standards in pediatric medicine. This article explores the HHS review’s findings, its significance, and why it aligns with our mission to safeguard children from medical experimentation and activist-driven agendas. The cover page of the HHS Review The HHS Review: A Science-Based Approach The HHS report, crafted by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the Office of Population Affairs, rigorously evaluates medical interventions for children with gender dysphoria, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries. Unlike guidelines from groups like the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), which have faced criticism for ideological bias, this review prioritizes evidence-based medicine. It assesses the quality of existing research, weighs risks against benefits, and addresses the ethics of treating minors with irreversible procedures. The review’s findings are stark: there is “very weak evidence” supporting the benefits of medical interventions, while substantial research highlights risks like infertility, reduced bone density, cardiovascular issues, and psychological harm. These treatments, often branded as “gender-affirming care,” lack the scientific rigor to justify their use in children, whose developing bodies and minds are particularly vulnerable. The report also critiques the ethical lapses in current practices, noting that medical associations have stifled dissent and prioritized ideology over patient safety. These conclusions validate our long-held concerns: the push to medically transition children is not compassionate care but a reckless experiment fueled by activism. The review aligns with global trends, as nations like the UK, Sweden, and Finland have restricted these interventions for minors due to similar evidence. By embracing this shift, the U.S. is finally prioritizing child protection. As individuals within the community, we understand the importance of living authentically. Many of us have navigated complex journeys of self-discovery, but we recognize that children lack the maturity to make irreversible medical decisions, especially under social or ideological pressure. The HHS review supports our view that affirming a child’s gender dysphoria with invasive treatments is not liberation—it’s harm. Gender dysphoria, the distress from a mismatch between one’s gender identity and biological sex, is a psychological condition that demands careful, non-invasive treatment. Historically, psychotherapy was used to explore underlying causes like trauma or anxiety. The HHS report advocates for “exploratory psychotherapy” as a safer alternative to medical interventions, a recommendation we wholeheartedly endorse. This approach seeks to understand a child’s distress without rushing to alter their body. Critics, including some LGBTQ+ advocacy groups such as GLAAD and HRC , have mislabeled this as “conversion therapy.” This is a false narrative, and quite ironic coming from people and groups that are perfectly happy to transition children who would otherwise likely just grow up to be gay adults. Furthermore, conversion therapy, a discredited attempt to change sexual orientation, is unrelated to exploratory psychotherapy, which neutrally supports children in understanding their feelings. The HHS review debunks these mischaracterizations, exposing the tactics used to silence ethical care. The Risks of “Gender-Affirming Care” The HHS review meticulously details the risks of medical interventions, which proponents often downplay. Puberty blockers, falsely marketed as reversible, can cause infertility, bone density loss, and cognitive impacts. Cross-sex hormones, which induce permanent changes, increase risks of cardiovascular disease and psychological instability. Surgeries are irreversible and carry significant complications. The report emphasizes that these risks are unjustifiable given the weak evidence of benefit. The lack of high-quality research is a central concern. The review notes that many studies on "gender-affirming care" are biased, poorly designed, or lack long-term data, echoing the UK’s Cass Review, which deemed the evidence base “remarkably weak.” By relying on systematic reviews—the gold standard in medical research—the HHS report offers a credible counterpoint to activist-driven narratives. To us, these risks are personal. We’ve heard from detransitioners—young people who underwent medical transitions as minors and now face lifelong consequences. The HHS review’s focus on “do no harm” aligns with our mission to protect children from such outcomes. Ideology’s Grip on Medicine The report exposes how ideology has corrupted pediatric medicine. It reveals that medical associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, have suppressed debate to create a false consensus around "gender-affirming care." It also highlights instances of political pressure, such as former Biden administration officials urging WPATH to lower age limits for surgeries, prioritizing activism over evidence. This politicization is what Gays Against Groomers has fought against. Medicine should be guided by science, not ideology. The review challenges claims that "gender-affirming care" significantly reduces suicide risk, noting that such assertions lack robust data. It also questions terms like “gender identity” and “sex assigned at birth,” which obscure biological reality and confuse discussions about care for children. A Path to Ethical Care The HHS review calls for ethical, evidence-based alternatives, emphasizing mental health support for children with gender dysphoria, many of whom face co-occurring conditions like depression or anxiety. Psychotherapy can address these without irreversible interventions. The report also urges long-term studies to better understand treatment outcomes, empowering parents and clinicians to make informed decisions. This approach is a massive victory in the fight to end the war on children. It respects the complexity of gender distress while prioritizing safety. It also counters the coercion parents often face to consent to treatments they don’t fully understand, reinforcing medical ethics. Conclusion: A Triumph for Children The HHS review is a triumph for science, ethics, and child safety. It exposes the flaws in "gender-affirming care," challenges activist narratives, and offers a compassionate, evidence-based path forward. For all of us at Gays Against Groomers, it validates our fight to protect children from medical experimentation. We call on policymakers, clinicians, and the public to embrace the report’s findings and join us in ensuring that care for children is safe, ethical, and grounded in truth. Together, we can protect the next generation from irreversible harm and restore integrity to pediatric medicine. - Desisters vs. Detransitioners: What's the Difference?
There is an ongoing discussion in the “gender-affirming care” debate about desistance and detransition, their similarities and differences, and why the distinction between them is important to recognize. Desistance: A desister is someone who experimented with social transition, changing their name, pronouns, and appearance to see if it would ease a perceived incongruence. They never medicalized, and over time, they came to realize that their feelings were fleeting or influenced by external factors. Since their identity wasn’t stable or persistent, they eventually dropped the social transition altogether. A review of one qualitative study, two case studies, five quantitative studies, five ethical discussions, and twenty two editorials reported desistance in 83% of 251 participants. Thirty definitions of desistance emerged, with four common trends: disappearance of gender dysphoria (GD) feelings on identity discomfort alleviated after puberty, a shift away from trans identification, cessation of distress, and loss of desire for medical intervention. Source: Karrington, B. (2021). Defining Desistance: Exploring desistance in transgender and gender expansive youth through systematic literature review. Transgender Health, 7(3), 189–212. https://doi.org/10.1089/trgh.2020.0129 Detransition: A detransitioner is someone who has undergone medical procedures to change their appearance, using hormones and surgery to alter their body, often driven by persistent and ongoing discomfort with their biological sex. Over time, for emotional, psychological, or health-related reasons, they decide to stop or reverse the medical transition. This can involve discontinuing hormone therapy, seeking surgeries to undo previous ones, or returning to their original gender expression. Detransitioning is often a complex process that requires addressing the physical, emotional, and social effects of the transition. Detransition refers to the cessation or reversal of transitioning, which can be social (gender presentation, pronouns), medical (hormone therapy), surgical, or legal. While detransition and regret are sometimes used interchangeably, they are distinct concepts that may overlap in some individuals. Source: Irwig, M. S. (2022). Detransition among transgender and gender diverse people – an increasing and increasingly complex phenomenon. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, dgac356. https://doi.org/10.1210/clinem/dgac356 Detransitioner Clementine shares her story with parental rights activist Billboard Chris. Both desistance and detransition result in a patient's re-identification with their biological sex, but they are entirely different paths with clear differences. This distinction is important because one has been physically harmed in ways the other has not. Desisters have not been betrayed by the medical and mental health establishments in the same way as those who medicalized their bodies. Desisters have a place at this table, as their voices are just as important, but maintaining these distinctions is vital for detransitioners. Stories of detransition often come from a place of medical malpractice, while stories of desistance tend to be more psychosocial and identity-based. Conflating detransition and desistance muddies the waters for those who need proper terminology to meet their needs. The trans community is not about open discussion and finding common solutions; rather, the forced acceptance of the group as a whole is authoritarian and totalitarian in its approach. Anyone who strays from their ideology is shouted down and exiled. Detransitioners have voices that are hard to hear, and it is difficult for others to fathom what we have been through and how long the road to recovery is for some of us. Our voices are often stifled and dismissed by those who identify as transgender and those who enable them. We are the pariahs of the gender identity movement—refused recognition by those who will not acknowledge the harm they are causing, not just to us, but also to women who fight every day for their personal spaces and sports in the name of their gender beliefs. We need our voices to be heard, not silenced. We need to be seen. We need our stories told! People must wake up to the harm being perpetuated and help us stop others, especially children, from being harmed in the name of gender identity. Help us do this! Speak to your congresspersons and senators! Talk to your state legislators, school boards, and anyone else who will listen. Help us protect children from this harm!
- Gays Against Groomers Sounds the Alarm in Tennessee About Gender Ideology’s Distortion of Faith
It was an honor to give a speech at the Gays Against Groomers and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event, where we stood together to defend children and speak the truth. The first time I was ever asked to give a public speech was when I was far younger. I was asked to give a speech in Washington, DC, for a politician I didn’t know and still don’t know. The speech was pre-written, and I was only selected to read it because I am a Tennessean. I don’t remember much about that speech. Migraine. Stomach turning. Lights hurt. Voices hurt. And there were cameras everywhere. This was at a moment in time when cameras pointing at you was a rare, unsettling occurrence. The speech bombed. I was fuchsia from head to toe, gripping the speech as though it was a life raft, and I never once looked up. Needless to say, I was literally kicked off of the stage. I have since grown and have presented PowerPoint presentations and classes at jobs. I’ve even read poetry in front of strangers. I was honored to give my second speech in a public setting on a topic that I hold dear. I was even allowed to write my own speech. I practiced and paced, thinking of more and more points that needed to be made. I don’t know how long that speech would have been, but it was far longer than the edited version. The speech I did at the TPUSA event went much better. This conference with Gays Against Groomers and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) was important. Miki (a.k.a. The Political Mixster), one of our Southeast Region Leaders, had worked hard on getting the details worked out and her presentation perfect. Although there were only nine of us, we continued our conference. Miki, Chelsea, and I represented our organization and the Tennessee chapter. Miki Lorren explained our mission, her photo shoot “Butch,” and how AI impacts our children’s well-being, especially when it comes to Gender Queer Ideology. Chelsea gave a heartwarming speech about how she sought GAG for the sake of her children. My speech was based on a growing issue of Gender Queer Ideology distorting the Christian community. Gays Against Groomers is made up of a myriad of religions and beliefs, and Gender Queer Ideology is bulldozing its way through every single one. It needs to stop. I am grateful that people are waking up, but we are still fighting against these loud voices who would see all children destroyed. We fight for the children and their right to live innocently and without harm. My speech calls out one particular person: Jamie Bruesehoff. She wrote a book called Raising Kids Beyond the Binary: Celebrating God’s Transgender and Gender Diverse Children, which attacks Christians and their faith. Regardless of how much you do to pay worship to the trans community, Bruesehoff assures you that it is not enough. It will never be enough. Viewing this book from a Christian lens, since she claims it’s for Christians, we see how she twists and rewrites the scriptures to fit their narrative: “Transgender children are holy and should be worshipped as such.” Keep fighting for the truth, because the truth will win in the end. My Speech Good evening and thank you for being here, especially with this wonderful beach weather we’re having. I appreciate that you’re here and that you’re sharing your passion for saving children. Thank you, Hampton Inn & Suites for hosting us and a special thanks to TPUSA and Miki for putting this together. My name is Mandy Oaks and I’m the Director of Research and a writer for GAG. Our books: The Gender Trap by Carla Curtis – an informative book filled with solid research to combat the lies of Gender Queer Ideology. And our first children’s book: Born Perfect: Jack’s Story . I won’t say who wrote it – it was me. The illustrator, Ani Bilgutay did a phenomenal job bringing Jack and his family to life. (FYI: You’ll get an opportunity to win a signed copy in our raffle). Look for our next children’s book about a tomboy – this book is going to make you want to climb trees and skin your knees! Visit GAYSAGAINSTGROOMERS.COM for these books, articles, and more! We also have an upcoming documentary called “Leaving Amy” about our member, Matt, and his journey through transgenderism. Visit LEAVINGAMY.COM to be part of this project. One of the things I love about GAG is we’re made up of different beliefs and religions, yet we understand the evil that is being done to children and we fight to stop it. This is why we’re here: to combat the nefarious lens of Gender Queer Ideology. Everyone sees the world through a different lens, sometimes multiple lenses. Tonight, I invite you to see this battle through the lens of Christianity, because Gender Queer Ideology unapologetically rampages through religion. From “Church Drag Story hours and shows for children” to “Christian” and “Jewish” books to “Queers for Palestine,” this cult demands that we believe truth is as fluid as water and just as difficult to grasp. Their “my truth” movement has insidiously wrapped itself around society, attacking all who disagree. One such attack comes from Jamie Bruesehoff in her book, Raising Kids Beyond the Binary: Celebrating God’s Transgender and Gender Diverse Children . Using the lens of Gender Queer Ideology, Bruesehoff pretends to use a Christian lens to rewrite the Bible. She states a truth: we were created in the image of God; therefore, everyone is born perfect. However, Through mental gymnastics, Bruesehoff explains: being born white is toxic, children should be put on hormone blockers, their bodies need to be butchered to fit their ideal selves, and transchildren are holy and should be worshipped as such. All of this is a concerted effort to correct God’s perfectly imperfect image. She claims “people of faith do the most egregious harm to transgender and nonbinary people.” – Adults like us who state boys are boys and girls are girls are traumatizing children and causing them PTSD. Does God respect a person’s “truth?” Let’s look at Elijah. In 1 Kings 19, Queen Jezebel had all the prophets of God murdered. Elijah escaped, and believing he was the only prophet of God left, he begged God to take his life. This was Elijah’s “truth.” Did God affirm Elijah’s “truth?” Of course not. God corrected Elijah; explaining that his work wasn’t finished and he wasn’t the only man of God left: 7,000 people had not worshipped Baal. But…under Gender Queer Ideology, God is cruel by not affirming Elijah’s truth. This is the slippery “truth” Bruesehoff and other ideologists want you to believe. You must affirm your child’s “truth” no matter what: If your son believes he’s a girl, affirm it. If your daughter believes she’s a cat, affirm it. If your child believes…You see the point. Bruesehoff and other Gender Queer Ideologists do not care about children. They sacrifice children to their god – Gender Queer Ideology – And if you don’t affirm their truth…You will suffer their wrath. They forget the wrath of God: “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” – Matthew 18:6 They forget, because they don’t believe in God. We don’t fear their wrath. We see through the lens of THE TRUTH: Children’s innocence should be valued and protected. May God bless you for standing strong and fighting for the future of all children! References Gays Against Groomers Publishing. The Gender Trap: The Trans Agenda’s War Against Children. 2024. - Trans Sex Offender Goes on Locker Room Flashing Spree, Exposes Genitals to Several Young Girls
Arlington County , Virginia, just became ground zero for the ultimate betrayal of parents, kids, and common sense, all in the name of radical gender ideology. A convicted sex offender, Richard “Rich” Cox, exploited Arlington Public Schools’ ( APS ) “self-ID” policy to enter girls’ locker rooms fully naked in front of children. APS officials were warned, but instead of stopping him, they allowed him to use female-only facilities under their “gender-inclusive” policies, which they defended at the expense of their own students . Richard Cox, a 58-year-old Tier III registered sex offender , the most serious classification, requiring lifetime registration, was arrested after multiple incidents where he exposed himself in female-only locker rooms at Washington-Liberty High School, Wakefield High School, and Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center. The first reported incident occurred in September 2024 when a mother and her 9-year-old daughter walked into the girls’ locker room at Washington-Liberty High School and found Cox completely naked after a swim lesson. The girl was traumatized and needed to leave. And it didn’t stop there. Over the next several months, Rich Cox repeatedly entered girls’ spaces, exposing himself at multiple locations: October & November 2024 – Cox exposed himself in the girls’ locker room at Wakefield High School. December 2024 – Cox was seen walking around completely nude in the female locker room at Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center in front of a woman and two minors. He allegedly engaged in similar behavior at two Planet Fitness locations, Fairfax County’s Audrey Moore Rec Center, Oakmont Rec Center, and Franconia Rec Center. Over the summer, Cox was charged with indecent exposure after being caught naked in the female-only locker room at Planet Fitness in Fairfax County. The charge was dismissed because Cox claimed to have legally changed his sex to female and found a loophole. One mother canceled her gym membership at Planet Fitness after learning Cox was using the girls’ locker room there as well, saying, “I was pregnant when I learned that a sex offender was using the women’s locker room at my gym. I canceled my membership immediately.” According to reports from 7News , community members and aquatics center staff repeatedly complained about Rich Cox exposing himself in the girls' locker room. They had received complaints about this man but claimed they “couldn’t do anything” because Cox identifies as transgender. A police report revealed that Richard Cox had been seen loitering in the locker room for over an hour, exposing himself to young girls. Witnesses described his behavior as “deliberate and prolonged.” At a heated school board meeting, furious parents demanded answers from Arlington Public Schools’ leadership. Democrat and lesbian activist Burton Nelson slammed Arlington Public Schools for putting girls in danger: “Girls and women are not safe in the presence of any naked men. That’s why we have two separate locker rooms!” Superintendent Francisco Durán refused to acknowledge anyone's concerns. Nowhere in his response did he address the trauma faced by the victims or the legitimate safety concerns of parents: “Our facilities are designed to be safe, welcoming spaces where our community can come to connect, engage, and focus on their health and well-being.” Rather than admitting their policy was exploited by a repeat sexual predator with a 30-year history of targeting children, school officials are doubling down. Their solution? Telling girls and women who feel uncomfortable with a naked male sex offender in their locker room that they should be the ones to use “family changing areas” instead. This response is eerily similar to the Loudoun County scandal, when school officials covered up a bathroom sexual assault by a male student wearing a skirt…only for him to later assault another girl at a different school. This isn’t just negligence. It’s deliberate child endangerment. Court records show Rich Cox has served multiple prison sentences dating back to the 1980s for exhibitionism-related crimes. Cox has a documented history of “severe sexual paraphilia of exhibitionism” and “compulsive sexual behaviors.” In 1995 , Cox himself admitted in a letter to a judge that he suffered “compulsions to expose [his genitalia] in public places.” His criminal history goes back decades, and he has spent his life preying on minors. 1992 : Convicted of indecent liberties with children after exposing himself and masturbating in front of minors at a gymnasium. 2007: Convicted of possessing child pornography. 2020: Placed on Virginia’s Most Wanted List after violating probation and failing to register as a sex offender. In bodycam footage obtained by 7News, Cox argued that his rights and protections based on “gender identity” give him the ability to do what he does. He boldly states, “My civil rights as a transgender person allow me to use a public facility, including the restrooms that identify with my gender.” NOBODY has a civil right to flash their genitals at little girls. The controversy has now escalated to the federal level. The Defense of Freedom Institute ( DFI ) has now filed a Title IX complaint against Arlington Public Schools , arguing that the district failed to protect students from sexual misconduct. DFI is demanding a full federal investigation and policy changes to prevent further violations. Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs, with “sex” defined as biological sex (male or female) at birth, as confirmed by multiple federal courts and the Supreme Court. Since 1975, Title IX regulations allow schools to maintain sex-separated facilities to protect women and girls. The Biden-Harris Administration’s proposed updates would have expanded “sex discrimination” to include “gender identity,” mandating open access to facilities based on self-identification. However, last month, the Trump Administration's Department of Education – Office for Civil Rights put out a new directive, rendering the proposed updates invalid. Arlington Public Schools can no longer justify its dangerous policies by citing the Biden-Harris “gender identity” provisions because they were unlawful and vacated. Under Arlington Public Schools' policy, Cox’s claim of being a "woman" was enough to grant him unrestricted entry into spaces meant for young girls, even though he is a known sexual predator. Local parents have had enough. They are demanding major policy changes, including: 1. Immediate restrictions preventing biological males from using female-designated spaces. 2. Stronger background checks for those accessing public school and community facilities. 3. A formal apology and accountability from the school's leadership for failing to protect students. Police records show he has been charged with twelve counts of “Sex Offender in Proximity to Children,” three counts of “Sex Offender Entering School/Child Day Center Property,” four counts of Indecent Exposure, two counts of Taking Indecent Liberties with Children, one count of Identity Theft, etc. The sex offender remains in custody, but police believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward. This case proves once again that “gender inclusivity” policies are being used as a smokescreen for predators to take advantage of vulnerable children. Arlington Public Schools, like Loudoun County, has shown where its priorities lie. Girls deserve safe spaces. Parents deserve accountability. And serial sex offenders do not belong in girls’ locker rooms, no matter how they “identify.” References Thank you to our Research Team, led by Mandy, whose work allows us to deliver robust investigations and well-sourced reporting.
